Less busy than nearby London Fields, Hackney Downs benefits from both grass and a large concrete basketball area for when it gets muddy! There’s also a moderate incline on one side which we use for hill training and other exercises. It’s probably the only grassy hill in Hackney (bar Springfield Park) so let’s make the most of it!

LOCATION

Bordered by Downs Park Road, Downs Road, Cricketfield Road and Amhurst Road, Hackney Downs is easily accessible from all points. It’s one of the few parks in Hackney that aren’t gated which means you can take your training sessions 24/7. We generally see clients between 7am and 10pm, but have been known to do slightly earlier starts in the Summer (we’re definitely Larks not Night Owls).

Taster session format

We like to meet every client face to face before commencing a programme. It gives you a chance to meet your trainer too and see if he’s right for you. It lasts 30 minutes, costs £30 and we’ll give you a good workout! If you liked your taster session, we recommend booking in a weekly slot into your trainer’s schedule – that way you’ll both have it in your diary (no excuses!).
