Do you train indoors ASwell As In Parks?

Yes, we can train you at your home in your living room or back-garden. The choice is yours.

PARK Personal Training – What If It rains?

Despite the reputation for bad weather in the UK, you’d be surprised how infrequently it affects your outdoor personal training sessions. On average, 1 in 12 sessions needs to be rescheduled due to bad weather and we’re happy to do that free of charge (both us and our equipment don’t like the rain much!). Alternatively, we’re happy to push through if you are, plus in some Hackney parks such as Victoria Park there are terraced areas or bandstands with cover to train under.

I’m new to fitness, can you still help?

Yes, most definitely. We know how hard it can be to make a first move into fitness which is why we’re here to support and motivate you on your journey. Head personal trainer, Daigo, has worked with clients of all fitness level and age backgrounds. If you don’t know your lunges from your squats or what on earth a ‘TRX’ is, that’s no problem at all, we’d love to teach you.

How much does it cost?

One of our most frequently asked questions. Our full price matrix is online here. In summary, prices range from £45 – £60 per 60 minute session depending on how large a block you book in advance. Our rate is about average for a personal trainer in Hackney and we’re proud of not having raised our prices in over 10 years. We generally take a minimum booking of 10 sessions, showing both you and your trainer commit to starting a programme. Ideally, we’d like to book you in a preferred regular slot/s each week so we can guarantee you an hour in our diary but we realise some flexibility may often be required.

Please note, our taster session is charged at £30. It’s a proper workout for 45 minutes and gives you a chance to get to know your trainer before deciding if you’d like to book a block of sessions.

What’s your cancellation policy?

As far as we know, we’re the only personal training company in Hackney to offer one grace cancellation for new clients. That means, for new sign ups of 10 sessions or more, we give you one lie-in without charge and no questions asked! After that, our normal cancellation policy kicks in: providing you give us more than 24 hours notice, we’re happy to re-schedule your session to another date and time. Unfortunately, for cancellations less than 24 hours, that booking will come off your block booking ( it’s unlikely we’ll be able to fill that spot once you’ve cancelled at short notice ).

i don’t live in hackney, can you still train me?

If you live within a 3-5 mile radius of Hackney and providing it fits with your trainers’ schedule, we’re happy to scoot to you on our little Vespa, bringing a great workout direct to you. Head trainer, Daigo, lives in Hackney so he generally takes clients nearby, including all these East London locations.

what kind of fitness equipment will I use?

It’s really up to you and what you find most fun, but also depends on your goals. At the taster and first few sessions we bring a diverse range of fitness equipment so we can see what you ‘love’ or hate. These include, but aren’t limited to, battle ropes, TRX, medicine balls, powerbags, resistance tubes, agility ladders, hurdles, kettlebells and free weights, including a barbell. Usually, our clients love the boxing element and explosive stress-relieving exercises such as medicine ball slams into the floor; battle rope swipes and kicks into the pads. We try to mix up every session to make it different from the last, but still with your overall goal in mind, whether that’s weight loss, toning or strength gains.

I’m pregnant, can i still train with you?

Yes. Daigo, our head personal trainer, is fully qualified as a pre and post-natal fitness trainer through the gold standard body in the UK – YMCA Fitness. Whichever trimester you’re in, he can guide you through a safe programme that pushes you to your limits but always stays within the guidelines laid down by the NHS. One of our long-term clients famously trained right up until the birth of their daughter – going into labour was the best excuse we’ve ever heard for missing a training session!
